Originally founded in 1958 as the Anaheim Scouts Drum&Bugle Corps, The Kingsmen Drum&Bugle Corps was officially created in 1965. The Kingsmen have experienced a history of performance excellence which culminated in 1972 when they captured the first Drum Corps International Championship title. The level of commitment that was required of our members to achieve these titles demonstrates the excellent character building capabilities of the Kingsmen Drum&Bugle Corps. Kingsmen members have discovered that dedication and working together as a team enabled them to achieve success. Success in turn builds confidence in their own abilities. With this experience, the important values of dedication, self-discipline, commitment and achievement are carried back into the community.
Community Representation:
The Kingsmen have been the official musical representatives for Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, the California Angels, the City of Anaheim, and Bob Hope's USO.
